The Role

Maintenance Supplier Officer

The Maintenance Supplier Officer will be responsible for maintaining the supplier commercial rates in the supplier management database in an accurate and timely manner, as well as negotiating with preferred suppliers, obtaining preferential terms, developing good working relationships and controlling costs with the smaller groups on the supplier network.

Key responsibilities:-

• Assist with the renewal terms of business for Service Maintenance Repair suppliers
• Ensure systems are continuously updated with new commercial rates
• Open and closing supplier accounts as and when directed
• Leading/managing a team

Experience Required

All applicants must be able to demonstrate evidence of management of a small team and a large number of suppliers in a service driven environment.

Must be able to demonstrate evidence of strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to explain or present factual information to individuals in a structured, clear, confident and concise way avoiding the use of jargon.

Salary

£15000 - £17000
